Press Report weekending 30th November

A good weekend was had by three of our Clydesdale Harriers travelling to East Kilbride for the Hugh Wilson Memorial 10k Road Race. Gerry Montgomery was first finisher for the Club running 36.35, smashing his personal best by at least two minutes and winning 1st veteran over 50 prize. Pamela McCrossan was next in for the Harriers running 38.55, taking a minute off her personal best time for the distance and winning 1st lady prize, then David Mitchell a few minutes later in 46.00. Gerry and Pamela have been improving beyond recognition these past few months and I believe the best is yet to come from the pair. Both have been training consistently and it’s certainly paying off.

The other race that day was the Dunbartonshire AAA Cross Country Championships which was hosted by Kirkintilloch Olympians. Results on Results page on website.

Next race for the Harriers is the West District Cross Country Championships in Irvine on the 6th December and the following weekend is the Club Race the Hannah Cup cross country handicap race (Dalmuir Park 2pm 13th December).
