LAP Cross Country Championships

The placings for this year's Local Athletics Partnership Championships are as follows.
BOYS
1. Peter Bowman (CH) 40 points; 2. Tony Dolan (CH), Andrew Hunter (CH) and Ross Kennedy (Helensburgh) 20 points; 5. Lewis Wood (CH), Mark Busby (CH) and Lewis Hay (CH) 19 points.
GIRLS 1. Madeleine Robinson (H'burgh) 40 points; 2. Megan Robertson (H'burgh) 39 points; 3. Kirsty Kelly (CH) 38; 4= Cheryl Clarke (CH), Rachel Busby (CH), Kirsty Alexander (CH) 20 points; 7. Chloe Wright (CH) 19 points; 8. Claire Reid (CH) and Melissa Robinson (H'burgh) 18 points.
The scoring is that the first Dunbartonshire athlete in his/her age group gets 20 points, second gets 19, third gets 18, etc. There is only one race to go - the National Championships - so Peter should get the Boys Trophy and Kirsty is well in with a shout for the girls cup. All in all the youngsters are doing the club great credit on the country.
