Prasad at Chapelgill

Prasad ran in the Chapelgill Hill Race on Saturday and won comfortably from this year's unbeatable Junior, Robbie Simpson, in 19:34. Leading the field of 47 runners at the top of the hill he increased it in the downhill to make it two wins in three weeks. Incidentally the first M50 vet was Don Reid who had run for our hill running group in the 80's and 90's along with guys like Andy Dytch. P's version was that Robbie had led for a fair way up the hill before our man took over. Were you to take a map and stick coloured pins in at all the places where he has raced over the past 12 months you will note that he has covered most of Scotland from Peebles in the Borders to Aviemore in the north.
