John Kennedy had a good run in the Glen Lednock 8 miler at Comrie this week where he finished second to a local from perth Road Runners. John's time was 52:05. He is running well right now - the wee conversation I had with him as he sped past on his way down the forest road at the end of Stuc a Chroin indicated that although his legs were maybe shot, he was fresh as a daisy despite having covered almost 14 miles at that point including 3000 feet of ascent on a very rocky trail. Long may it continue - see if John and Prasad sympathised their diaries? Add in Michael and there's a good wee team there!!!
Prasad is still not a well boy and we look forward to his return. Locally we still have the Ben Sheann Hill race and then Crieff Highland Games has the Glen Turret hill race (where Steven Doig was second not long ago) and of course the Lochearnhead HG hill race where Cliff ran so well several years ago and P won last year. I can see at least four hill races without going further than 20 miles!
