More Strathallan and a Book

I omitted from the comments on the Strathallan Meeting last week the fact that Anton Russell took part in the Long and Triple Jump competitions: his placings are still not known but it is good to see him in only his second competition of the year. Lewis Wood, the star Under 15 throws expert, took part in the wrestling championships and took third place: it would be a brave boy who took him on, I can tell you!
The 'Rangers 1972:the gallant pioneers' is now available and 'flying off the shelves'. The club has almost four pages in the final chapter as well as several mentions in the course of the book.
