Stop Press
As soon as you write or say something you are tempting fate! I remember walking with my wife on holiday in Galloway when I said as headed for Bargaly Glen that we hadn't seen a single caravan all morning. Three caravans came round the corner immediately I'd said it. the reply was a tender and loving "You and your big mouth!" Prasad is not now racing this weekend - his disappointing year just got a bit more disappointing - his downhill running was going really wekk until yesterday when he raced down Ben A'an in training. Ben A'an is very steep and very rocky. He may well have broken a bone in his ankle, it is swollen up and he has a fair bit of pain at the bottom of his shin. I take an oath here that I will not write anything in the future tense about any runner ever again. Well, never say never, eh?

Just like to say it was great to see Gus back again in action at the Bella 5k.
You are looking as good as ever Gus. Our Captain is going to have one hell of a problem when he makes his selections as to who will make the A team in Sept/Oct etc.
