On Sunday was the LAP (Local Area Partnership Championships) at Linwood Stadium. Juniors and Seniors were taking part in track and field events. Results as soon as they become available.
The weekend of the 5th September was the Fresh N Low Great Scottish Runs (Junior, 10k and Half Marathon) which took place in and around Glasgow Green and is the largest participation running event in the country. Clydesdale Harriers had at least two running in the junior event. Fastest finisher and 2nd Under 12 in the race overall was Roisin McShea running an impressive 12.29. This was followed closely by Claire Reid (13.00).
In the 10k event fastest Clydesdale was Gary Dick (37.35) followed by Graeme Reid (40.41), Christine Duncanson (46.10), Watson Jones (47.51), Yvonne Green (48.35) and Colin Gray (52.23).
Lastly in the Half Marathon we had at least six harriers taking part. Fastest was Paul Carroll (78.24 pb), followed by Kath Scott (91.08), John Foley (91.55), Marina McCallum (92.25), Hugh Watson (92.48), Stephen Baillie (94.11).
