Well Done Roisin!

I've just had news that has cheered me up quite a bit. Roisin McShea has just heard that she has been selected to run for the West of Scotland at Holyrood Park, Edinburgh on ninth January. The experience of racing on the trail and in the presence of the best of athletes should be really good for her. Given her recent form on the country she should do well and bring credit to herself, her family and the club as well.
She celebrated by running in the Parkrun 5000 metres this morning where the icy roads affected all the times. Club times were Gerry Montgomery, 5th, 18:31, Bobby Young, 19th, 20:13, Marina McCallum, 20th, 20:24, Michael Diver, 23rd, 20:46, Roisin McShea, 25th, 21:17, Marie Rippon, 73rd, 25:27.
