News

James Austin missed the club championship on Saturday because his daughter was born that afternoon. That's a wee sister for Lindsay, Ashley and James. She is called Skye and weighed in at 8 lbs.

Robert Ross, who was the oldest Clydesdale Harrier at 106 years of age, died last week in a nursing home in Florida. It had been hoped that he could return home after falling and injuring his hip in December but in addition to the hip rehab there was a kidney problem. When his family went through his effects afterwards they found that he had kept several athletics mementoes such as a programme for the National Novice Championship dated 1921 and also in the team was J Semple. There were also three members booklets for the period 1919 to 1922. They didn't know he had them.
