News Report w/e 13th June

The Clydesdale Harriers had the fourth in the Polaroid Eyewear 10k Series on Sunday (13^th). This was the Vale of Leven 10k which started and finished at Loch Lomond Shores Results next week.

Last Saturday was the Bearsden and Milngavie Highland Games 10k. This started and finished at the West of Scotland Rugby Ground over a testing, hilly course. Marina McCallum took up the challenge and finished second female overall in a time of 44.17.
Last Wednesday was the Corstorphine AAC 5 Mile Road Race. Fastest harrier was Bobby Young (32.22), followed by Pete Cartwright (32.42).

The previous Saturday had three harriers travelling to Greenock to run the Frank Sinclair Memorial 10k Road Race. Fastest for the club was Gerry Montgomery who was third overall in a time of 36.21, followed by Pamela McCrossan (41.53 and first female), then Peter Rudzinski (45.53).

Next races for the Harriers include the ultra race the West Highland Way Race (19^th) and the Calderglen Trail Races (25^th).
