The Clydesdale Harriers had no less than three races at the
weekend – one hill race, one ultra and one 10k.

Firstly the hill race. This was the Glen Rosa Horseshoe Hill Race
( started and finished at the Ranger Centre, Brodick Castle, Arran) where Prasad Prasad came third in a time of 2.30.04, followed by Michael Diver (3.34.46).

Next was the West Highland Way Race (95 miles) where fastest finisher for the Club was Craig Calderwood running an impressive 22h 40m 22s for his first attempt. This was followed by Peter Halpin in 26h 46m.
The third was the Mens Health Forum 10k. Results next week.
On Friday 18th Roisin McShea traveled up to Grangemouth to compete in the Inter Regional School Championships. She ran the 1500m in a time of 5.17 coming well up on the field.
The night before was the Kirkintilloch Olympians 10k where fastest Harrier was Gerry Montgomery (36.30) followed by Paul Carroll (37.46), Pamela McCrossan (42.07 and 1st vet 45), and Colin Gray (56.09).
On the 13th of the month was an Open Track Meeting at Stretford.
Iain Robertson ran in the 800m finishing in a time of 2.04. Peter Bowman ran in the 1500m to finish 6th (4.14.14), and Jonathan Farrell ran in the 100m to finish in 3rd place (11.37).
Lastly was the Polaroid Eyewear Vale of Leven 10k results. Fastest harrier was Paul Carroll (37.16), followed by Kevin Farmer (37.37), Bobby Rossborough (40.39), Bobby Young (41.00 and 1st vet 60), Kath Scott (42.02), Heather Calderwood (47.23), Marina McCallum (48.34), Yvonne Green (49.54), Colin Gray (54.16), and Sandy McDonald (54.18). In the 5k young Roisin McShea was triumphant by coming 1st female in a time of 20.51.
