Well done Peter - and Bobby and Pete!

In the Scottish Schools on Saturday Peter Bowman had a very good day when he broke two minutes for the 800 metres for the first time. Finishing third he was timed at 1:59.22 - a medal and a pb, who could ask for more? Tomorrow Sunday he is in the Scottish Athletics Under 20Championships and running in the 1500 metres - another pb would be good. Then on Tuesday he goes down to Manchester with Johnathan Farrell to run at the Trafford Track in another 800. I look forward to the result.

Earlier in the week Bobby Young and Pete Cartwright competed in the Corstorphine Five Miles Road race. Bobby was clocked at 32:22 and Pete was exactly 20 seconds behind in 32:42 for the hilly course.
