I have just seen the Veterans Club Newsletter for November and found it very interesting. From the club point of view there are many race reports and results featuring club athletes but I was more taken by the photographs. There are five coloured ones on the back page - one of the Scottish Vets team from a cross country international with Pete Cartwright and Brian Campbell prominent, there is another of the 10K track race where Pamela is leading a group including Pete and one other - I'm not sure whether it was Bobby or Brian! Peter remains in post on the Committee, I think as handicapper.
It is a very interesting magazine with more articles than it uised to carry - eg the third and last of Colin Youngson's articles on the Edinburgh to Glasgow Relay is there as is an extract from Don Macgregor's reprint of a book on pedestrianism plus ranking lists. It's worth a look if you can get your hands on one.
