Garscube Schools Races

In the Garscube Harriers Schools races held at Mugdock Park on Saturday, there were only two runners from Clydebank Schools and they were both Clydesdale Harriers. Roisin was first girl in the S1/S2 race when she ran a time of 9:27 which was 37 seconds clear of the second runner. In the S3/S6 Boys' Race, Conor Ewing was second in 17:23 which was well clear of the third runner (19:10). Both ran for the St Peter the Apostle School teams and reflected great credit to their schools and their club as well as to themselves of course.
Now if we could recruit more like them the club would be even better as far as the young athletes teams are concerned.
