News report weekending 3rd March

Clydesdale Harriers Tricia Stevenson and Mairi Fox travelled to Arbroath to run in the Arbroath Footers Smokies Ladies Only 10 Mile Road Race. Over a tough, hilly course, Tricia was first harrier home finishing in a time of 88.58, followed by Mairi in 94.03.

Also that day was the Ronhill Cambuslang Down By the River 10k which had Donald Cameron having an excellent run over the flat course to finish as 8^th male overall in a time of 36.15.

On the 10^th of last month were the National Masters Track and Field Championships at the new Emirates Stadium. In the Masters Women and Men 60+ race Pete Cartwright had a good run to finish 4^th in a time of 5.26.50. In Heat 2 of the 1500m for masters Men Iain Robertson finished 6^th in a time of 4.53.11. In Race 2 of the 800m Iain Robertson was again running to win in a time of 2.13.68.
