Paul in the Islands

Paul Carroll has been in Stornoway for the last week preparing for the Half Marathon at the weekend. Nae luck - the weather was dire! Never mind, the race was the thing and you will have seen from the papers that he ran 74:22 and picked up the first veteran prize. Still nae luck! A steward misdirected the first eight or ten runners (including Paul) and the course for them was short. So although he ran well and was almost certainly inside 80 minutes pace, he was deprived because of the steward's mistake. Well done, all the same, Paul and better luck next time!
