I've just had an email from Bobby Flynn in New Zealand. The Three Amigos are staying with him while they are Down Under and they seem to be enjoying themselves. He tells me that they have all been Bungy Jumping and White Water Rafting and various other things. I know Pete is a bit of a daredevil - one story is that he took part in the TT Races on the Isle of Man as a passenger on a motor bike (you know, one of these guys who hang out over the side of the platform at the side of the bike while it is speeding round bends, etc) but refused to drive it because it was so dangerous for the passenger - but I didn't see Brian or Bobby as an extreme sports freak!
Bobby and his wife Betty were club members in the Sixties. Bobby not only ran for us in just about everything but was also one of the mountaineers who climbed all over Scotland and went on both climbing trips to Switzerland with Pat Younger, Frank Kielty, Allan Sharp and company. I have written about their escapades and even have a CD of Pat and company (including Bobby and Betty) singing at various venues. If anyone wants a copy they can have one.
