Press Report week ending 21st June

The last of the Polaroid Eyewear 10k Series kicked off at Lomond Shores in Balloch last Sunday (14^th). Clydesdale Harriers had 11 runners taking part in what ended up being an extremely hot day. Times as follows: Paul Carroll (37.09), Gerry Montgomery (37.23), Bobby Rossborough (41.23), Kath Scott (42.15), Bobby Young (42.47 1^st vet 60), Brian Campbell (43.42), Alan Lorimer (46.06), Christine Duncanson (46.26), Heather Calderwood (47.04), Yvonne Green (51.33), and Colin Gray (51.48).

Two hill runs were also contested that took place in the past two weeks. First was the Cort-ma Law which took place outside Lennoxtown. It was 10k and had 520m ascent. John Kennedy was 13^th in 53.57 and Craig Calderwood was 39^th in 59.33. The other was the Loch Lochy Munros at Achnacarry where again John Kennedy finished 13^th in a time of 2.28.19 over the 21k route and 1325m ascent.
