Johnathan Goes To Crieff

Having finished his Championship season, Johnathan Farrell travelled to Crieff on Sunday for the Highland Games. On a fine day he won the 90 metres handicap off a mark of 6.25 metres but was unfortunately out of the medals in the 200. The Chieftain on the day was Allan Wells, Olympic 100 metres champion in Moscow in 1980. He got to meet his hero who had brought his full set of Olympic and Commonwealth medals with him but, as he said to Johnathan, no one wants to see the silver ones!
Johnathan is off to Gateshead this weekend for the Tartan Games and then the following Sunday it is the last Track League match of the season at Grangemouth.
