Indoor league Match

The under 20 men participated in the indoor league final at the Kelvin Hall today, with some excellent performances on show.

Johnathan Farrell had some excellent performances, participating in 5 different events. He ran well to be 3rd in the 60m in 7.33 secs and 3rd in the 200m in 23.38 secs. He also took part in 3 field events, 4th in the high jump 1.60m, 4th in the triple jump 10.35m and 5th in the shot putt 8.60m.

Peter Bowman also had a good day, despite feeling a bit under the weather after running 6k at Irvine yesterday in the Scottish schools championships. He ran well to be 3rd in the 800m in approx 2 min 8 secs and 4th in the 400 in approx 55.8 secs.

Cameron MacLeod also competed well, participating in the long jump 4.87m and in the 60mH, awaiting official time. Unfortunately, Cameron sustained a minor injury in the 60mH which caused him to pull out from the 200m.

Well done to the U20 men, keep up the good work.
