Junior races

I received an email last night regarding a forthcoming race in June which may be of interest to some of our junior runners. Full details below:

Date: Friday 25th June
Venue: Calderglen Country Park
Strathaven Road
East Kilbride

Time/Distance:
6:00pm Under 9‘s 1km Fun Run
6:30pm Under 13’s & Under 15‘s 3km Trail Race
7:00pm Over 15‘s 5km Trail Race
7:30pm 10km Trail Race (U17, U20 and upwards)

Must be registered for the race, at least 30 minutes prior to start time.

Age group details:
1K (BORN AFTER 1/09/2000) £1:50
3K U/13 (BORN 1/09/1996 TO 31/08/2000) £2.
3K U/15 (BORN 1/09/1994 TO 31/08/1996) £2.
5K (BORN BEFORE 31/08/1994) £6 SAL member £8 non SAL
10K (BORN BEFORE 31/08/1994 £8 SAL member £10 non SAL

Postal entry is recommended for this race, places are limited for safety reasons. Entry on the day is not guaranteed and will incur an extra £1 charge. Entry forms can be downloaded from the Calderglen Harriers website.
