Prasad on the Ben

Good to see Prasad back in action again - he's only had six runs since Chapelgill at the end of March and he won on Saturday in a new record time. he had a recce the previous week and as a result developed a blister on his heel just smaller he says than a jammie dodger and sore legs. Nothing done during the week leading up to the race but felt good. Unfortuantely he was held up at the start of the race by a string of cars and again on the road at the finish. Nevertheless he went away at the start and if you look at the pictures on the Scottish Hill Runners website you will see how far clear he was at the top of the hil - lots of pictures. He also says he lost a lot of time on the way down because he saw how big a lead he had and his heel was starting to act up again. He met Bobby or Jim Shields at the finish - he's not sure which! His legs are sore, he's seeing the physio and his next race might well be the euro trials in June.
