Dunbartonshire county cross country championships

The young athletes had to endure snowy underfoot conditions at Maryhill park on Saturday. Results below,

An excellent result from U11B Stephen Kane to finish in 3rd position with the bronze medal, running a great time of 4 mins 34 secs.

U11B Connor Higgins also had a great run finishing just 5 seconds behind Stephen in 4mins 39 secs.

U11 Girls Caitlin Stuart and Eve Kerr ran really well to finish in 13th and 14th place, in 5 mins 23 secs and 5 mins 31 secs.

U13B Lewis Hay had a good run and finished well in 15th place, in 10 mins 27 secs.

U13G Rachel Busby ran an excellent race to finish 3rd and bronze medal winner in 9 mins 33secs.

U13G Jenny Kerr also ran well to finish in 20th place in 12 mins 23 secs.

U15B Connor Ewing ran well to finish in 6th place in 13 mins 23 secs.

U17B Lewis Wood finished well in 8th place in 20 mins 02 secs.

U20M Peter Bowman had a great run and finished 1st with a gold medal in 29 mins 42 secs.
