Prasad

Prasad's name hasn't appeared in the results sheets for some time and the last run in a club team was the Nationa last year. That's because he has had a disastrous year altogether. He was going to have a go at the Scottish Hill Running Championships but by the time of the Stuc a Chroin Race (one of the main counters) he had been ill for a couple of weeks (coughing up yellow lumps was his decription of it!) And it was downhill from there.
He has been inured almost continuously since mid-summer. During the bad spell of weather in December he had time off though illness and then when the snow was deep, his boss offered to drive him in to the Hotel in his four-wheel drive. Unfortuantely they didn't make it which meant a long walk before getting a lift in then about 5 miles back to the car at the end of the day! Horrific. Most recently, at the start of the year, he had a holiday in Germany where he spent the whole time after the first 24 hours in bed ill. He is not running at present so we will not have him in the Nationa - a bit unfortunate says I!
