On Thursday was the Polaroid Eyewear Clydebank 10k,
organised by our own club, Clydesdale Harriers. In extremely hot conditions
most times were slower than normal. The race started and finished on the
service road at the rear of the Clydebank Shopping Centre. Fastest harrier was
Donald Cameron finishing in 36.42, followed by Kevin Farmer (39.34), Martin
King (40.15), Alistair Greig (40.19), Pete Cartwright (41.20 and 1st
vet over 60), Hugh Laverty (41.49), Brian Reilly (42.14), Mark Barrow (45.10),
Shirley Greig (45.25), Christine Duncanson (46.56 and 2nd vet over
50), Gerry Kane (47.13), Colin Gray (52.48), and Billy Weaks (60.11).
This Thursday coming is the third in the Polaroid Eyewear
10k Series at Dumbarton. Race starts at 730pm.
