Last Friday several members of Clydesdale
Harriers travelled to Pollock Park to run in the Brian Goodwin 10k. Anne Murray
ran well to finish as 1st veteran over 45, followed by Mark Barrow
(43.27).
The night before was the Rouken Glen 10k
again on the southside of Glasgow. Over the tough course Paul Carroll had an
excellent run finishing 3rd overall in a time of 35.46, followed by
Brian Gallagher (37.14), and Donald Cameron (37.16). The three also won 1st
male team prize.
Last weekend was the Dalbeattie Civic Half
Marathon where Stephen McKee ran well to finish in 1.54.55 over the hilly
course. This was followed by Tricia Stevenson (2.04.25), and also Evelyn McKee
(2.04.25). Also that day was the Mens Health Forum 10k where Mark Barrow
narrowly missed out on a personal best time finishing in 42.42, followed by
Colin Gray (49.31). Lastly, at the Kelvin 5k Fun Run an omitted result.
Alistair Kerr finished the hilly race in 22.28.
