News report weekended 14th July

Clydesdale Harriers had their own club race on the 9^th. The Sinclair Trophy was a 2 lap course of 5.4 miles in total. It was a handicap race but actual times are shown. Conditions were extremely hot.  Fastest harrier was Paul Carroll (32.01), followed by Gerry Montgomery (34.10), Iain Robertson (34.53), John Fox (35.45), Hugh Laverty (35.56), Paul McKendry (37.36 and 1^st Handicap), Pamela McCrossan (38.12 and 1^st Female), Bobby Young (39.06), Marina McCallum (39.38 and 1^st Female Handicap), Colin Gray (44.52), Christine Duncanson (45.02), Stephen McKee (48.37), Trisha Stevenson (57.22), Evelyn McKee (57.22), and Allison Broad (57.22).

The previous Sunday Marina McCallum travelled the Isle of Arran to run in the Half Marathon and finished as 2^nd Female over the hot and hilly course in a time of 1.35.33.
