Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all well and looking forward to another season of cross country action.
As I have said previously these types of races sharpen us up, make us stronger, harden us and seeing that big 'black c' pit our wits against other clubs makes it all worthwhile at all age groups.
So, I hope as many of you as possible can participate in the next few months.
Listed below are some (not all) of the events we should try to concentrate on. I am aware that its impossible for everyone to do all the races but id appreciate (on behalf of our club) if you could make yourselves available for as many as possible.
West District Relays - Hamilton Park racecourse - Sat 12th October.
Dumbartonshires- - Postie's Park - Sat 19th October.
National c/c Relays - Cumbernauld - Sat 26th October.
National 4k champs - Bellahouston Park - Sun 10th November.
West c/c champs - Kilmarnock - Sat 7th December.
National Masters c/c - Hawick - Sat 1st Feb (2014)
NATIONALS - FALKIRK - SAT 22 FEB (2014).
If there are only a couple of races you can make then please make it the Dumbartonshire's at Posties Park on the 19th October. With everyone out racing, I genuinely believe we can kick some butt !
The other is the one I have highlighted. The nationals at Falkirk on the 22nd Feb, next year. Yes, that's next year. FIVE MONTHS NOTICE !! Its the best race you could ever hope to be involved in and the atmosphere is up there with any race you could ever do.
Hope to hear from as many as possible of you to enter your names.
