London Marathon 2013 - How to apply for the space allocated to Club

This year Clydesdale Harriers has been allocated 1 Club space.  If you wish to be considered for this space you must meet the criteria below:

-    Not be eligible for a "good for age" place in the 2013 event     

-    Have applied for a place via the main ballot and have received a rejection letter

-    Have helped out at Club events, for example stewarding at the 5k or 10k

If no members meeting the above criteria apply then consideration will be given to other applicants.  In the event of more than one person applying names will go into a ballot.

London Marathon 2012

Clydesdale Harriers have been given 1 Club place in the 2012 London Marathon.

If you would like to be considered for this allocated runner space, please e-mail me by Wednesday 7th December 2011.
To qualify for this space you should have already applied direct and have a rejection letter plus you should have helped out at Club events e.g. stewarding at the 5k or 10k.

If no one meets the above criteria but some Harriers want the space then all the names will be put in a hat at the Committee Meeting on 9th December and the 1st name drawn will win the allocation.

Clydesdale Harriers have been given 1 Club place in the 2011 London Marathon.

If you intend to run in the marathon and would like to be considered for this allocated runner space, please e-mail me as soon as possible.
To qualify for this space you should have already applied direct and have a rejection letter plus you should have helped out at Club events e.g. stewarding at the 5k or 10k.

If no one meets the above criteria but some Harriers want the space then all the names will be put in a hat and the 1st name drawn will win the allocation.

CLUB PLACES FOR LONDON MARATHON 2011

If you wish to put your name forward for one of the two places Clydesdale Harriers are allocated you must meet the criteria below:

-         Have applied for a place via the main ballot (LINK TO MAIN BALLOT) which opens on 4th May and have received a rejection letter

-         Have helped out at Club events, for example stewarding at the 5k or 10k

Note:    If you have a qualifying time for a “good for age” place you must apply for this individually as you will not be eligible for one of the Clubs places.

Gerry Montgomery and London Marathon

Gerry has obtained a place in the London Marathon and is running to support a Charity.

London Flora Marathon 2009
