Well done, Pete!

In the British Masters Track and Field Championships at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham Pete Cartwright was second in the M65 1500 metres in 5:04.98 (5:04.13) and the 5000 metres in 18:46.18 (18:45.20). The figures in brackets are those of the winner. The 1500 metres was a super run with Pete being 22 seconds ahead of the third placer. The 5000 was a bit closer with only 13 seconds separatimng him from the third runner. Why don't more vets go to these events, is the question??? Well done Pete.
