Stuc a Chroin Hill Race
I didn't know that the Stuc a Chroin was on on Saturday or I would have gone along to see it and wander up the hill a bit - it's only 5 miles down the road after all. No Clydesdale Harriers running this year when in the past there have been several - Michael Diver supported it for at least ten years, John Kennedy ran three years ago, Shelagh King ran it quite often and so on. Ross McInroy, former club runner now with Helensburgh ran for the umpteenth time but the thing that made me wish I'd gone was the second placer: a guy called Alistair Meikle (Unattached). Could he be the former club president from Gala? If he is, and if he reads this, get in touch Alistair. It would be of interest to know.
