Hill Running

Prasad was at the short sharp Craigenower Hill at Straiton in Ayrshire at the week end and won by over a minute and a half from A Andreson of Carnethy Hill Runners. It being a local Gala as well as a sports meeting a lot of children were allowed to start with the runners so he wasn't right to the front - a couple of wee kids had that honour. He caught them after 400 yards and led to the finish which he reached in 16:11, a course record with the second man timed at 17:45.
