The Amigos are at it again! Bobby, Pete and Brian were racing yesterday (Saturday) at Birmingham in the British Masters Cross Country Championships in the M65 - 74 age group and came away with gold, having defeated Bradford and Bingley. It's a rivalry that has been going for some time noew - like maybe a dozen years or so, it just feels like forever. And they've almost always been successful! Bobby was fifth this time and Pete sixth.
Meanwhile on tarmac far away in the Canaries, in the Scottish Veterans Warm Weather Training expedition, Hugh Lafferty won the men's race from M King and Pamela McCrossan won the Women's race from Marina McCallum - all of course were Clydesdale Harriers.
A good week end all round!
