Message from Club Captain - Paul Carroll.

Hello Guys,
A Happy new year to the rest of you that I havent seen.
We all have our favourite races.
It could be the London Marathon. The Great Scottish Run. The Brampton to Carlise...the list is endless.
For me its the Nationals at Calendar Park, Falkirk. This year on the 18th Feb. For those of you who havent raced here then this is what racing is all about.In my oppinion.Its 3 laps for Men. 2 for women. Last year it was muddy and but a superb atmosphere. No matter where you are on the course you can just about hear the course commentator and the roars of encouragement from the watching spectators. Any race I've done, doesnt come close to this one.
So, you all know when it is. Last year we had 11 competing. I dont think its too unrealistic to expect upwards of 18 between our Men snd Women this time around giving what we had at Duchess Woods.
I will not have many events left as Captain before re-election in April so please try your upmost to be available.
The track sessions have continued to improve us all, so lets get out there and put some of those 'hard' sessions to good use.

Please remember that the closing date is Wed 25th Jan.
No late entries and all membership and your Saf must be up to date.
