I have only had 1 reply to my request for help with the event (Clydesdale has to provide a share of the stewards/helpers) and again the person is one of the regular volunteers. If it wasn’t for the time given by people who help out in many ways to get these events organised there would be fewer races in the calendar.
If no more offers of help are forthcoming (by Wednesday) it may not be fair to the other clubs to have our runners take part.
