News Report week ended 9th September

Several Clydesdale Harriers travelled to the island of Cumbrae to run in the Millport 10 Miler on Sunday.(see pics below) In extremely blustery conditions fastest harrier was Donald Cameron finishing in 13th position in a time of 61.16, followed by Hugh Laverty (67.26), Stuart Allison (68.26), Paul McKendry (73.33), Fiona McCue (73.47), Yvonne Green (76.26), Marina McCallum (81.01), Gerry Kane (81.27), and Marie Rippon (92.39). The weekend before was the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Runs. First up was the 10k which had Alan Dick running 40.12, followed by Brian Reilly (43.43). The Half Marathon was next and had Brian Gallagher finishing in a time of 1.20.30, followed by Donald Cameron running a personal best time of 1.20.38, then Kevin Farmer (1.24.57), and Tricia Stevenson (1.56.26)
