Clydesdale Harriers had a good weekend with the Paisley Vision 10k Road Race on Sunday. Results soon.
The day before was the Bute Highland Games 10k where Pamela McCrossan had a good run to finish as second female and first veteran in a time of 42.07 over the predominantly flat out-and-back course, followed by Marina McCallum fourth female and second veteran in a time of 43.45.
The previous Wednesday had two of our harriers competing in the Springburn Harriers Canal Canter 7k Trail Race. Bobby Young was fastest harrier in a time of 28.55, followed by Colin Gray (34.05).
The previous weekend was the National Under 16 Age Group Championships at Aberdeen Sports Village. Emily Paxton had a good run finishing 5th in the finals of the 300m in a time of 44.26. Rachel Campbell also ran well to finish 5th in the finals of the 300m Hurdles in a time of 51.17.
